Profile of AK9 Trainer
AK9 Trainer, Shanice is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), United States. She has successfully achieved numerous awards in obedience & agility with her sheltie, Nova, both locally & internationally -- 2 SKC titles, 4 USDAA International Titles. They are also the Only Team qualified to represent Singapore at the Cynosports International Competition in Arizona, United States for a total of 7 events in December 2008. They are currently the only Team in Singapore with 4 International Titles from United States Dog Agility Association (USDAA). Shanice also volunteers with the dog rescue shelters in Singapore. Shanice and Nova have also achieved the SKC Prestigious award 'The Agility Dog Of The Year 2009'.

(Before training) Snowy likes to sleep with the family on the bed but he will bite when they move their legs on the bed.
(After 2nd lesson of behaviour modification & obedience training) Just want to update you on Snowy. Last night was a wonder. As per my sms, he went into the crate or 'bed' himself without us asking him to and stayed there till he fell asleep. After maybe half an hour, he came out of his bed and slept on the floor. And back to his bed again till about 3.30am this morning, he came near our bed and tries to jump up. I got up and ask him to 'off' and he went down but tries again and this time I woke my daughter up and told him 'off'. And then my daughter asked him to 'go bed' a few times and he went in and slept till this morning.
I'm really grateful to you Shanice, you are indeed a marvellous trainer !! Hope he continues with this pattern of sleeping. Thanks once again, Shanice.
