In limited context, you may be asked to provide part of your national registration identification card number (NRIC) but only where required to: participating in contests. If you have chosen to, we also collect information about your pets like the pet's name, breed, gender, birth month, likes and dislikes, etc.

We also collect general information about your computer such as your operating system type, browser type and version, screen resolution, IP address, and use aggregation to measure number of visits to our site, number of page views, duration of time spent and various other site statistics. This monitoring helps us in optimizing and improving our website layout and contents so as to provide the service and content quality that we desired.

Ways Your Information Is Used

We will use your email address to inform you of replies to your posted contents, notifications of private messages, notifications of contest winnings, news in regards to Pets Channel or other information deemed important and/or necessary to be disseminated to our members directly.

Your human name, address and email address will never be shared, rented, bartered or sold with other users or third-party companies. Your nearest MRT (neighbourhood) and country will be displayed in the site together with your website URL and your public introduction paragraph if you have chosen to provide them.

Members are able to send private messages to each other via the use of "My Mailbox". However, members will never see each others' email address. When a user submits a "Tell A Friend" form, we do not store or copy any the recipients' email address.

The biographical information you enter about your pet(s) is available to all users of the site and anyone with internet access. Thus it is impossible for Pets Channel to be a protectorate of your pet'(s') facts and photos, so you should never post a photo or fact that you do not now or ever want someone else to have access to.

Aggregated information like the percentage of members in Pets Channel with dogs, percentage of members in a certain neighbourhood, etc, may be disseminated to third parties. The information is not personally identifiable and is used to determine the suitability of target audience for purpose of advertising, partnerships, etc.
