For now, he is doing fine already. Except that when he get excited, he will still leak urine.

How about yours? Still confined to one area or is he successfully trained and he can roam around the whole house?

I wonder how long it takes

I have just gotten a shih tzu, who is now 6th months old. He came home with me since 19th April and is still going thru training at a confine space (toilet).

The space is only large enough for a sleep area as well as a pee tray. At times when we are at home, we will let him out to play and bring him back back once we feel that it is time for him to pee.

However, there is something that he does at times which puzzle me alot. He actually urinate on many occasions on the space that is supposed to be his sleeping area. I understand that dogs usually don't do there???? After he pee on the floor, he still go and sit/lay on it.

PLEASE ADVISE ME, what can I do to prevent this???
