Hi pasta,

I tink if u found out early shld b fine, dun worry! But wil b in great pain for them the first few days. So aft her surgery oso muz b v careful of the after op care. Btw, whn xb had her surgery, dr ly replaced a Len into her eye.
Tmr I oso hv appt wif dr ly. Yr surgery shld b in the aftnn?

dry dog food to recommend Sep 5, 2012 09:03 PM (Total replies: 53)
Quote: Soup or broth
Boil pork bones, chicken bones, lamb bones, etc (buy from supermart, those with a little meat on it) in pot for 2 to 3 hours on low heat How much water to add, up to you, and how many containers/ice cube trays you have Do not add salt or other seasonings If you wish, you can add watercress Let it cool Use spoon to skim off fat Pour soup through sieve into ice cube trays Freeze Put soup cube into water bowl
Barley Boil barley with water in pot for 2 to 3 hours Add teaspoon of honey and mix well cool, sieve into ice cube tray
Alternatively, use more ingredients and less water so that soup or barley is thick. Freeze, put ice soup cube into water bowl and add water
I do this once a month, sufficient to feed for one month. Edited by daphnelee on Sep 5, 2012 at 05:26 PM --- Original message by daphnelee on Sep 5, 2012 05:22 PM Hi Daphnelee
Juz to ask if I boil the barley can I juz feed my dog with the barley and water? and how often shld I feed her? Thanks in advance

Im oso nt v sure, so i heed her advice. u tink its ok?

Hi greengreen,
I don't knw if she's making progress cos the eye looks the same to me. You knw I hv been reading abt cataract article and post operative.. And I knw that aftercare is v impt. Nut my XB's eye used to be cloudy and red but aft a few days, the cloudiness subside but the eyes is stil reddish. i hv been searching on the net but i can't get a definite ans. Today the eye nt so red maybe the blood hv dissolve abit? The col now is like dark blue, cloudy? Is it normal? I want to knw aft shld b wat col. and YES! the collar is too small for her, so I change to a bigger one. I hv closed all the room doors whn we are nt at home but I tink she wil jump up to the sofa!!
the face are now v v dirty but I tried cleaning the face using cloth. I tink she stil feel the pain cos when I cleaned the face, she wil move bck. Who can help me?

UNPLEASANT AND DISAPPOINTED EXPERIENCE!!! WOOF Aug 12, 2012 03:34 PM (Total replies: 36)
Hi
I agreed with you.. is the vet that counts!! Frankly speaking i dun knw if my XB's eye wil recovered or regain her eye sight, BUT at least tis op had clear all the bacterias inside that DR Ly said can cause her to lose her eye ball... Cos XB's eye is inflammation for quite sometimes le..... So i only have to wait for tis few weeks to knw if she can see
I shall nt mention the name!!! but ti's at MOUNT PLEASANT(REDHILL) EYES SPECIALIST!!! I tink quite easy to search le. hahahah!!! Pissed off!!!
1st two days after op!!!
