Here a very useful and painless way to resize your photos, instant and free! As suggested by "savednloved" during moderator discussions.
Quote: One idiot proof way is to install the Photo Gadget resize program.. It's free! Just download and install. Then right click on a JPG file and choose the size to be 450 pixels width and 450 height and keep aspect ratio, and voila! You got a resized JPG.... Can't get easier than that! Just download from http://www.xemico.com/photogadget/freeware.html
I'm using this now too. Credits goes to savednloved. Edited by liondom on Jul 18, 2006 at 09:13 PM

Noticed that for my other PC, i've unknowingly downloaded the "Pro" version that only has 15 days evaluation period. After that needs a license to continue usage.
Here's the link to the freeware version, hidden somewhere in their site. Direct link is here, http://www.xemico.com/photogadget/freeware.html
Cheers!

Resizing Photos using Photobucket.com 1) Upload your photo onto Photobucket.com.
2) Click on the photo you've just uploaded.
3a) Hover your cursor over the picture. At the top of the photo, there is a "Resize" button. Click on "Medium (320 x 240)" to resize it to this size automatically. It will be abit small though. However, do not select Large (640 x 480) as it would be too big for the forum.
3b) If you want it to be bigger, click on "More Options". Then in the new screen, under "New Size", key in 450 on the left box. This adjusts the width of the picture to 450 pixels which is perfect for posting in the forum. The number in the other box on the right will automatically be changed for you according to the new size. So do not change the number on the box on the right.
4) Scroll down, click on "Replace original". Ta-da, you can now share this picture in the forum. The IMG tag can be found on the left of the webpage.
