based on my personal experience, I experience less meet up with dogs when I bring my dog out to pet-friendly resturants/pub. Even when there are other dogs around, they might not really click or want to play.

The best place for furkids to mingle or start socializing is dog park. I just let him run free and watch him from far. But be prepared that he will be dirty and smelly after that.

Hey guys,

Bark Cafe at Changi Museum ain't too friendly with dogs anymore. When I was there in Dec, there was a No Pet Entry sign right at the entrance, so when I prompted the service crew that I am here with my dog, they directed me to sit at the far end of the cafe, in a deserted corner, and I was told no more bringing of my dog in future.

Sure didn't feel too welcome there.

i stopped going there 6 months ago when they told me dogs are not allowed. definitely not dog friendly anymore. pity. I used to frequent the place regularly.

The bark is referring to tree bark. hmm... quite misleading.

that was a super no-no place - there were discussion abt this before earlier on in this thread mentionin that bark cafe do not allow dogs anymore....

even before it was also misleading with the name bark cafe - they do not even serve food or water to our dogs during the time they allowed dogs. i brought my jojo there thinkin they serve food - in the end we had to finish out food in a rush to bring my jojo home for dinner!!!

should call it TREE cafe instead accordin to swat's understandin of the name.

that's why I am ever faithful to Blooie. They are not only dog friendly.....it's super dog friendly. My dog always gets a cup of ice when he gets there.

Last saturday, we went for brunch at Canopy ; Bishan Park II which is near the dog run. They are super dog friendly and will even give your pooch a dish of cold water without you asking. I will definately go again.
