Hi all,
I have two 1 yr old pommies. I'm currently feeding them wellness core small breed adult kibbles. Is it a good food? I will mix it with salmon oil every morning. Also has anyone heard of this supplement call "hardypet complete"? I'm thinking of changing the food to Evo or Blue wilderness.

nvr heard of the brand u mention but there're so many brands in the market , 1 dog owner just nid to try on their dog themselves n c the effectivenss lor. but nothing works miracle overnite lah , just be generous on your spending for your pooch. food wise, u nid to ggogle for their reviews n read others dog owners write ups on its pros n cons. 1 website u can visit is The Dog Food Advisor.

Lasltly, there're plenty of infos on Pomeranian Diet n Pomeranian Care as well. Spare some times read up for the benefits of your 2 lovely poms

They are doing well on wellness but many online reviews recommended EVO and blue. I'm confused.
Here are more information on the supplement http://www.hardypet.com/

U have to try for yourself to find out. Min a mth before you can tell the difference.

Why confused? Just chunk everything aside, buy 1 pkt and try

The 1st thing you should look at is the poop. Is it too firm/dry? Too soft/moist? Is it more in volume compared to the other?
Next the fur/skin.. is the dog shedding more? Scratching? does fur looks glossier? Any pimples/rash?
And the eyes - is the dog tearing more? (Protein lvl is usually the cause), bright? Any discharge?

Supplements wise, I will not advise to feed too much, lest the body starts to rely on these and stop producing their own.

So far no problem for my pooches. They are doing well on the kibbles. Shed less, fur is glossier. The eyes is bright with no discharge.
Instead of giving one meal, i'm giving them 3 small meals a day. 1st meal of the day will be mixed with salmon oil. fruits will be given to them 30 mins before their 3rd meal. In between they will be given Marukan, ziwipeak and wellness treats. 2-3 hrs after their 3rd meal, i will give them a small piece of wagatha organic biscuit. How do you find the daily routine? My parti pom is tad lazy, LOL, however he will just go for an evening walk with me. I will bring him for walks thrice a day on weekend and once a day on weekday. Really hope to see them growing up healthy as my previous pom die from kidney disease at the age of 15 yr old. I'm planning to buy baby carrots and cocotheraphy products to further enhance their diet so that they will have more varieities and won't get bored with the same food. Btw Wellness core small breed is a new product.

Normally i don't treat my dogs that often. I would just give them boiled chicken carcasses or ox tail after they finish the kibbles. Maybe cause my dog are smarter, they know if i were to give no matter what, they won't finish their kibbles.

Do check the weight of your pooches, if they're slightly on the heavier side, do cut down to 2 meals a day.

If you want varieties, it's okay to change different brand of kibbles.

Hi, i need some opinion. Is blue buffalo a better brand than wellness? I'm planning to give my dog some fish base kibbles-looking at wellness core ocean and blue buffalo wilderness salmon. Can someone please advice?
