I am going to ask a silly question regarding groomer's who make housecalls.  I would imagine a lot of fur on the floor after grooming so who does the cleaning up? The washing woyld probably take place in the bathroom or kitchen sink.

As for learning how to groom your own dog, I came across a course (conducted in SGP) which teaches you to groom your own dog.  It is not cheap and you need to purchase your own set of grooming kit and bring your own dog for the lessons.

That's a very valid question infact I had the same thought before engaging one. Not sure about the rest but the home groomer I engaged does the cleaning up. She has this super big dryer cum vacuum that suck up the fur on the floor. The washing is done in my bathroom and I could join in to watch the entire washing process and she also taught me how to do anal gland extract during the process. The whole home grooming wasnt as messy as I have expected.

Thanks Frogfish for the answers I am looking for.

It's nice having an option of having the groomer come by. Currently I still take Boss to the groomer's. He loves going out especially when I take the bag. He knows we are going further away!

Cheers!
