The Singapore Kennel Club is organizing the Asia Kennel Union (AKU) Championship Dog Show on 26 August 2007, Sunday, 9am – 6pm, at the Singapore Expo Hall 5. The AKU Championship Dog Show is the most prestigious canine event of 2007 with renowned judges from Japan, Australia, Thailand and India.
Together with the SKC’s 160th and 161st Championship Dog Shows, SKC is having the 74th Obedience, 41st Novice, 29th Utility, 88th Agility and 13th Jumpers Trials, and the Singapore Toy Dog Club’s 33rd Championship Dog Show which is a Specialty Show held within the AKU Show venue.
Under our Companion Dog Section, SKC will have competitive events open to all dogs. Regardless if you have cross-breeds, mongrels, non-pedigree or purebred dogs, all are welcomed. There will be a parade by Singapore Specials from Action for Singapore Dogs, and special appearances from Ms Singapore World finalist and celebrities from Deal or No Deal and Project Superstar to judge the events!
First Ever Grooming Competition in Singapore!
For the first time ever, the SKC will be organizing a Grooming Competition for all aspiring and professional groomers, with the objective to uplift the standards of its groomers and the grooming schools and centres they represent. SKC is very privileged to have a Grand Master groomer from Japan to judge our event.
The AKU Championship Dog Show is kindly supported by the Pets Enterprises and Traders Association Singapore (PETAS) and sponsored by Addiction Foods Pte Ltd, Pets Station, CosiMilk and The Honest Kitchen.
Entrance fee: $6/adult, $1/dog. Entry is free for children below 12 years old.
